Equip to Engage

Equip to Engage is called to serve children’s leaders through quality, affordable, local leadership development. This is accomplished with retreats, weekend events and specialized programs.

What makes Equip to Engage unique? We concentrate on equipping, encouraging and connecting local children’s leaders and local churches. We understand many children’s leaders are lay people and are unable to attend national conferences. Equip to Engage brings resources and encouragement to the local church or geographical area.

Equip to Engage collaborates with local and district leaders as it seeks to make gatherings and resources as cost effective as possible for children’s leaders.

The Brooks Family

The Brooks family is traveling the US and Canada with the purpose of equipping, encouraging and connecting children’s leaders. Their desire is to connect local churches with one another to be more effective in reaching children and their families. Equip to Engage is the lived out call of this family.

Trey is Co-Director of Equip to Engage and travels full-time in ministry with his family to equip, encourage and connect children’s leaders. He does this through SPARK, leadership retreats, weekend events, specialized resources and speaking at children’s camps. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary, is an Ordained Elder and is StrengthsFinder Advocate. Trey is married to Candice and they have three children: Sophia, Levi and Noelle.

Candice

Candice is Co-Director of Equip to Engage and travels full-time in ministry with her family to equip, encourage and connect children’s leaders. She holds a degree in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University. Candice is a certified story trainer with Tell THE Story. Together with her family, she enjoys speaking at children’s camps and children’s leadership gatherings. She is married to Trey and they have three children: Sophia, Levi and Noelle.
