Synergy 2024

What is Synergy? The Definition – “Synergy is the interaction or cooperation of two or more agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.” The Gathering – It’s a national gathering for district leaders revolving around ministry collaboration with focused discussion.

The past 5 years the focused discussion at Synergy has been Church Camp. District Children's Directors and District Children's Leadership Teams...Synergy is for you! The focused discussion will be primarily church camp as well as different elements of district ministry.

At many conferences, participants often are poured into by people and learn new things, which these times are needed! Synergy is a “working” gathering in which the participants help form what the discussions include. The desire is that Synergy (the gathering) will live into Synergy (the definition) and that each participant will come away with something to use on their districts!

Testimonials

Synergy Participant

The 3 days spent at Synergy had such an impact on me as an individual, as a part of a team and in my position of camp director. What I took away from this time of instruction, resourcing, brainstorming and sharing was more than I bargained for. Not only did I make life-long friends who share my love of camp (and yes even some of our frustrations), but I networked and resourced and left energized with new ideas that were tried and true. I also left this seminar feeling validated as a long-time camp director as to my vision, passion and direction in many things. We do not have to be an island as we plan and envision for camp – we can be a continent with a vast array of resources that will positively affect our ministry of reaching out to kids through camp.
